The rarest coffee around

Geisha is the world's most prized coffee variety, known for its wonderfully unique flavours and aromas. It's generally sold in tiny quantities (and this one is no exception), as the plant needs very specific conditions to thrive – particularly how high up it's grown.

Santa Marta sits 2050 metres above sea level. This is exceptionally high, even by coffee-farming standards. And at these towering altitudes, Geisha tastes absolutely stunning. You'll taste a truly exceptional cup, with a flurry of hints of lemon drizzle cake and a silky note of ginger that'll melt in your mouth.

Why's Geisha so special?

This Arabica variety is in high demand and regularly sells for £10 per cup in coffee shops. It needs very particular temperatures, high altitudes, and intensive farming to grow, and even then you get low yields. But when you taste the sweetness, complexity, and stirring aromatics in the right Geisha, you'll know why farmers go to such lengths.

We don't go for any old Geisha and sell on the name of the variety – which is why there are no more than three available at Pact each year. At 2050 metres above sea level, Geisha cherries develop maximum flavour, aroma, and complexity, and this makes for a truly superb sip.
